| 31 Oct 2003 | Jennifer Alice Peters | well why not be self taught? I'm of the opinion art classes stifle the real purpose of art: creativity. What's creative about drawing a bowl of fruit. Is that in any way an expression of your soul? Anyway keep at it, art is really just about knowing how to look at things and translating a 3 dimensional plane into a 2 dimensional one in your head, it's not really something that can be taught. It's more of a long trial and error process that never really ends | |
