In fact I quit art college for many reasons, one including the fact that I was not allowed to use my mechanical pencil AT ALL in my drawing class. And being brought up with a father that uses engineering for half his work, I have never used anything BUT a mechanical pencil. I don't sketch either. I either doodle detailed or draw detailed. And those idiots wanted fast easy crappy look sketches with an ugly super soft B6 pencil. I LOATHE those pencils!! I really do. I hated every minute using those darn things! So!
