Tag As FavoriteComment		This is the original painting that I used in a spoof of People magazine cover art called Faeries. Im not too happy with the digicam shot. The original is very rich like velvet and yet shiny at the same time.

this is so nice! She's very pretty and well-named to boot. I can see what you mean about the velvety texture, I think it comes through a fair deal.
The wings and foliage are gorgeous, and I also like how you added your signature as a paw print.

15 Moira Hawthorne Copeland replies: "thx! It is tonnes & tonnes of layers of chalk pastel...after too many name changes I decided to settle for a symbol...it works well as a commerical artist b/c you can slip it in without being obtrusive!"

Great work.

I´ve got the same trouble ... it seems that pastels and scanners or digital cameras are not good friends.
