| 29 Aug 2005 | Sofie Hermansson | Loading...You've got an gallery fantastique here, Hélène! I really enjoyd strolling around in your world of elves, faeries and dragons. Wonderful. Hélène Bruneton replies: "Thanks a lot, Sofie! I'm really glad you enjoyed. There should be more very soon (or I hope, the ticket has been in the queue for more than two weeks now...)" | |
| 8 Sep 2005 | Laura Watson | Loading...Ohh, i commented on the Morrigan pic and added it to my bookmarks list as i loved it so much, then looked at your gallery and realised you drew the Pictsy! so id already added you to my bookmarks!! I love your gallery, full of my favourite characters (Granny weatherwax, dragons, the Morrigan and Nac Mac Feegles in the same gallery!). You are an amazing illustrator, and it's great to see someone who can do brilliant characters AND amazing landscapes. Really inspirational. Hélène Bruneton replies: "Wow, thank you very much! I'm very glad you enjoyed this gallery, and very flattered by your comment. And it's great that we share an interest for the same characters " | |
| 10 Sep 2005 | Louise Lindgren | Loading...Hi, Hélène! I haven't been in your gallery for some time, so it was surely a nice surprise to see that it has expanded quite a bit. Expanded with many great works that is. "The awakening of the dragon" is wonderfully detailed and colourful, and I like the sombre feel of "The Morrigan". And not to forget your interpretations of Pratchett's wonderful characters. And congrats to the mod-feather for your Nac MacFeegle by the way... Your skills with watercolour are to admired for sure. Hélène Bruneton replies: "Hi Louise! I'm very glad you came back here, and still more that you enjoyed the visit. The update is more or less what I did during the whole year, as I sort of drifted away from Elfwood for a while, partly because of the crashes and partly because of a rather busy real life... But I'm back, and I hope to upload some more pictures there in the next months." | |
| 19 Nov 2005 | Anonymous | Loading...I love your style. I can't quite put my finger on it but your art is simply amazing. I don't think I've seen anyone on this site with the mastery of watercolours. Thank you Hélène Bruneton replies: "Thanks a lot! I'm really glad you liked Though I'm sure there's plenty of very talented watercolourists around Elfwood - certainly better than me!" | |
| 31 Jan 2006 | Eli F. Pope | Loading...You have a great grasp of watercolors, I find them to meddlesome to my taste, but am always awed by the people that can pull it off with such style. Hélène Bruneton replies: "Thank you! I think I love watercolours - even though they're not always easy to control. I love this calligraphy feel you can get, and also the way you have to just let the light be in the painting..." | |
| 31 Jan 2006 | Maja Carlsson | Loading...I am in love with your gallery!! Its amazing! I especially like your trees! Very fantasyich! I don't understand how you can bee so good with watercolor! Hélène Bruneton replies: "Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed your visit " | |
| 3 Feb 2006 | Joe | Loading...I really love your trees. Each one comes out as it's own being! Hélène Bruneton replies: "Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked them. You know, trees are what I doodle in boring reunion meetings, and they sure end looking more alive than a lot of my colleagues..." | |
