A dragon-landscape pic, everyone's got to make one some day... This one was a birthday pic for my sister Marianne, back in april (Happy Birthday Marianne, and many happy returns!), and was also submitted at john-howe.com for the eye challenge. I uploaded a detail of the eye area for those interested, here (I hope, if I guessed how pages are named in Elfwood right).

Yeah, and the dragon is a she, because Marianne told so. And she's a nice dragon, only a little hungry, and the knight is a very evil one. And the horse got away!

I love it. Though the knight looks kind of exhausted. I wonder what he did before being eaten by a grass-covered dragon ^^.

:-) Hélène Bruneton replies: "Thanks a lot! I guess the knight only had a very rich meal, and is dozing on his horse... Mmh, a nice fat knight for the dragon 12"

This one is spectacular. I love the entire composition and coloring, although I liked the close-up snip as well because you did a fabulous job on the dragon's eye.

Oh, and thanks for letting us know that the horse got away! 2

Ooh, very good idea, and well illustrated. I really like the way you integrated the dragon into the mountain.

WOW......um....nothing more to say...just joking XD Great picture. Like the guy above who fainted I theink the amount of detail is great and the eye looks fantastic. But somehow the knight must be pretty stupid not to nitice the dragon XD

I’m glad the horse got away. It would have been much more of a disaster if that was eaten too. The dragon might have gotten a stomach ache!
