SciFi and Fantasy Art County Fair by Honorah C. O´Neill

A young rabbit hopes to win a blue ribbon at the county fair with his unusual Jacob's sheep.

Jacob's sheep are an unusual breed notable for having four or more horns on both males and females.

The rabbit's ears are laid back to rest against his back so aren't very visible from this angle. His coloration and ear shape are based on a black tailed jackrabbit.

His plaid shirt took about 7 different layers of paint and 4 hours to paint.

22 May 2007	Heidi Hecht	Loading... I like it! I used to show rabbits at the county fair, so the idea of the rabbit showing something seems a little ironic to me. I just have a couple of nits about this piece: The eyes on the rabbit are a little too big, and the right front leg on the goat looks like it could be broken. Otherwise, it's awesome. Firt comments dance!
