Hi Heather, I'm loving this art of yours. It took me a couple seconds to see the pink stripes in the background. I love her pose and fingers. Very whimsical. I wish I could have had a pic like this in my room when I was little. =) Keep up the good work, cuz it's really mm mm good!

:-) Heather Partch replies: "Thank you! The stripes didn't really show up in the scan. They are still pale on the original but you can see them better. The scanning also made my lines a little wobbly looking (on all my pictures). They are smoother on the originals. It means a lot that you say you like her fingers, because I am always struggling with hands. I'm glad you say "whimsical" because that is the exact word I was going for!!"

*chuckles* it actually reminds me a lot of a few of my pieces... i like your idea though. it's very whimsical =]

(and I mean a mix of dark goddess and err.. butterfly queen, I believe is that one's name.)

I adore her pose in this picture. Seems to have a touch of care fee to and maybe a touch of snootiness? I mean that in A nice way! Really!! So dainty a delicate is she. Great job!
