| 13 Jan 2004 | Bob | Loading...Hi, um, you don't know me but I was wondering if you could give me some tips on drawing feathers? And I think the other f-word is ******. Oh nuts. Kaitlin M. Heazel replies: "I'm glad you checked my stuff out! Feathers can be hard, but practice really helps. First, look through books on birds. Many times they will have an anatomy of the wings. Feathers are mostly just alongated ovals with one end open in long rows. If you add detail and follow the anatomy, it will turn out fine. Good luck!" | |
