I noticed that I haven't put up any of my dragons...Sooo here's one of my best, certainly one of the most liked. I like to do the baby dragons, the best. They have a certain charm about them, and they inspire me to draw what mischief they get into! So enjoy if you will, and certainly comment! :)
Scottish Humor:In Alford, Aberdeenshire, a small boy was one of the contestants at a children's cookery contest. The judge made a great show of tasting his iced cakes and saying how delicious they were. He glowed with pride. Then the judge asked how he had managed to get such a lovely gloss on the icing. How had he managed that? 'I lick them' he replied.

What a lovely dragon. I love its face but I think the wings could do with some work. They are so straight and stiff, its like the dragon has a kite stuck to its back. I mean it looks great as it is but it could look alot better with more muscle and natural wings.

18 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note(I'm back from the craziness of wedding planning!): Yeah, the wings are the thing I'd change if I ever redid it, but it was my first one like this. I pretty have two styles with these critters, more realistic wings ( like bats) and the easy fast ones ( not kite like anymore, I used a ruler with this one I think)! 2 Thank you for your constructive comment!"

Love your little dragon. He's really cute, great job!!! The wings are really straight, you should have curved them.

1 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Glad you like it! This was the first dragon I drew in this style, I wasn't quite sure what I was doing with the wings. The later incarnations either have bat-like wings, or wings like these except curved more. 2"

I know you must get sick of people saying this, but this picture is really cute 2 I love the pleased look on the dragon's face, which is symbolic of the "I've caused trouble and I know it" expression.

22 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Wow, I REALLY need to get back into the habit of replying to comments right away! The dragon has indeed caused trouble, in the chocolate chip cookie world! 1 Hey, do you have any more new stories up? 2"

12 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Uh oh, now you have a little dragon glued to your shoulder, night and day, wanting more cookies! "

Awwwww, you're such a cute little thing! *hands dragon a big cookie jar, size extra-large* Here, Enjoy! I'll bet that's a mini-dragon... He reminds me of my dog! And the Scottish Humor is hilarious!

13 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: *dragon falls into cookie jar and since it ate all the cookies can't get out because it's too fat/heavy* 12 Scottish: They do have some fabulous jokes, I sometimes forget to put them in the descriptions. 2"

OMG, so cute. I want to pinch his cheeks.

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "I think that would be ok, as long as you don’t take away the cookie! 1"

He looks very, very happy. I’d be happy too if I had a cookie. The wings do look a bit straight, but maybe that’s just because he’s so excited and high-strung from all the sugar.

Why fight a dragon with a sword when you can juts give him a cookie ^_^. I ahve always thought this was the cutest piece of art I have ever seen.I still love it. I woudl love to see this coloured though I suspect it woudl take away from it. Take care.

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Oops, I missed this one! Thank you so much for the comment, and yes, cookies are stronger than swords. 1 "
