Another one I finished for Ellen Million's Portrait Adoption (hence the watermarking), it can be found here. PA is the reason why she got finished, I wasn't quite satisfied with her face the first time around. I think of her as a sorceress, of butterflies of course. :)
Scottish Joke:The two main railway stations in Glasgow (Central Station and Queen Street)are not very far apart (two or three blocks at the most) but one serves mainly the lines going north and east and the other mainly those going south and west. So travellers sometimes have to move from one station to the other to complete their journey. One lady approached the taxi rank at Queen Street and asked the driver 'What is the shortest way to Central Station?' The driver immediately pointed to the door of his cab and said 'In there madam.'

Wow, no comments. Really? Well, I think this is great. I absolutely can not draw people and I have the utmost respect for those who can. I think this is an excellent picture. Way to go.

I like it alot. The lips are especially well done. The one flaw is that some cruel monster wrote across her face, somewhat marring the picture.

12 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Actually its a spell of protection *against* monsters. 12 I always worry that the lips I do look too much the same in all my work. I did start to color her, and she looks almost completely different, I had to change her hair style and then her clothes...One thing leads to another! Thank you for popping in! 2 "

Very nice curls. I could never draw decent curls (among other things).

2 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: I am trying to remember when I picked up my curl style... Ellen Million has almost the same style, and she went through an Elfquest phase as well, but I think mine was also influenced by Larry Elmore. Sometimes the curls get out of hand, I find it easier to draw them than paint them!"

Gorgeous! The hair is magnificent, and from far away I wouldn’t question it being a photograph at all.
