My first acrylic. After long weeks of frustration of trying to come up with the perfect subject to paint, I felt like stabbing something, and so that is where this picture came from. After I got it done I was fascinated by the story going on behind it, why was the person going to stab the other? What could the woman (who looks like a sorceress) have that interested the cloaked person? Was it an asassin, or a personal matter?
Scottish Humor: A farmer's wife, who was rather stingy with her whisky, was giving her shepherd a drink. As she handed him his glass, she said it was extra good whisky, being fourteen years old. 'Weel, mistress,' said the shepherd regarding his glass sorrowfully, 'It's very small for its age.'

Awww... I love it! It's so colorful, but in a subtle way... This also reminded me of Snow White. Oh, and I love the grass, you did it perfectly! And look at the wrinkles in the clothes... I wanna do wrinkles in clothes >_^.^<

1 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: It always amazes me when a picture hasn't had a comment for over a year and then suddenly gets one ! Thank you! 2*takes a look at the picture again herself* Wow, it is a lot blurrier than I remembered... I think I like the grass the best as well...I also remember LOVING to work on the guys cloak! Wrinkles in clothes are hard, but not really? Boots always give me a hard time! <2First time anything of mine has reminded anyone of anything Disney, but that is rather flattering because they do awesome work, even if it's "dumbed down" for kiddos. 2 Thanks again, you made my day! *skips off*"

I bet she is someone important, he is an assassin, and the letter is one which go a few hours late.... such as a warning?

Yay for assassins which don't wear black!

3 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Never thought of the letter as a warning that an assassin was on her trail! Interesting! And if the assassin wore all black in a forest he would get spotted quite quickly, and I didn't have black, didn't want to paint black either! Thanks for the comment! 2"

I don't care what the story is behind the painting. I just want to see the cloaked man stab her!

Excuse me, i get a little violent when i'm sleepy.

3 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: *LOL* A little violent are we? *but stays far far away from "Sleepy" when they are sleepy*"

I have a dark mind, so bear with me, but is he going to stab her thru the head?? O.0

6 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Well, I think that would be pretty hard to do and keep it swift because of all the bone, I was thinking more her upper back...Unless he has a magical knife that cuts through bone like butter, but then I think it would eventually cut through it's sheath and chop the guys leg off. Unless he had a magical sheath to go with it! <2"

Very nice for a first acryilic... What is that she is reading? is that why he wants to kill her? she Probably wanted to blackmail him 2

18 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Thanks! 2 I don't know what is on the scroll she is reading, that is part of the mystery.Probably some spell or a letter warning her of an attempt on her life, the blackmail thing sounds cool as well! 2"

it reminds me of "Snow white and the seven dwarfs" how cute.

2 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: That's an interesting observation, I wonder why it reminds you of that? 2"

Nice!
I can really see there could be a very good story behind it!

2 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Thank you."

Its cool, but if the assasin really is going to kill her, he should look a bit eviler

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Thansk Katherine! My talent back then was more with drawing cute stuff, but these days I could probably draw "eviler" if I have to. 2"
