Heidewald replies: " Jenny's Note: Kat, is that you? Yeah, it is sad what happens to Flit, but then it is always sad when you read a book and it goes through generations of people, you get to know them and then they die of old age... like the Pern books. That must be what it is like to live a really, really, really long time. Thanks for commenting."

Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note am glad you like it, as for how old he is, imagine him younger and this is what you'll get. "

| 2 Dec 2003 | Anonymous | Loading...Greetings. I was looking for a 5-10 line character description of Flint for a MUD I play...going to immortalize him in my home. So I want to make it nice. basically a description of him that says who he is without having to state his name - for us that know him. Lost my books...if you can help, email me a descript. Thanks!! Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Hmm, well I am in B'more and my books are in AZ, and it's been a while since I have read them...From what I recall he was gruff and grumpy, but that was his outer mask, inside he was just an ol' softy for those he loved. He was very loyal, and a terrific fighter, the spotlight got stolen from him a lot from that "Blasted Kender", which he was either quarreling with most of the time or rescuing from another upset person the kender had "borrowed" from. Basically a greying dwarf who was uncomfortable with protraying soft emotions. Anyhoo, dunno what this has to do with my picture besides it being Flint, would you mind commenting on it since I was so kind to offer up some stuff you can use in your description? Thanks..." | |
| 13 Jan 2004 | Finolla Wolf greywolfpixie@ya | Loading...Again I love it! (took me a while to find though lol) heehee the boat! I cried for Strum...*sniff* I cried for Brandella too but hey. Back to picture comment... I reckon the helmet and the beard are cool? How'd you do them? AGH! so goooood! (goes of in search of Larry Elmore) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Brandella...? I don't recall that character. As for the drawing, lots of patience, but nothing at all compared to what I was showing last night when I was attempting to figure out how xactly to draw a sailing ship that is driving me crazy (the kind you see in your mind and it is so beautiful that it won't leave you alone until you get it on paper!) Thanks for the comment, and there is a link to Larry's Page in my Bio. " | |
