| 13 Jan 2005 | Alzan | Loading...Good drawing; I'd love to see it fleshed out in color. Seeing the drawing bought back the memories of role-playing Goldmoon in one of my first role-playing games. I didn't read any of the novels until I had played her for over a year, and by then I'd given her a personality somewhat different then the ones given in either the game module or the novels. Did you ever see the cover of Dragon Magazine #140. The artist is Larry Elmore (artist for a good portion of Dragonlance products and though it's not mentioned in the mag, the cleric pictured appears to be Goldmoon. Even went and got a second copy of that issue and framed one of the covers. Thank you for posting the drawing. Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note:*searches for the cover* Ah, yes, that one. Maybe one day oil paint will let me use it so well! Larry Elmore is my favorite artist, it was his art on the covers on the first DL books that got me practicing a lot more at drawing, and collecting a lot of DL books. It must have been strange to read about how the character is after you gave her a different personality. "She wouldn't do that!" Thank you for the awesome comment, I'm glad I could supply a bit of nostalgia. " | |
| 24 Jun 2005 | Laura | Loading...This is the best version of Goldmoon I've seen. Her strength as a princess is really brought through and it's the first version I've seen where she is fully dressed. Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Aww, thank you! The DL artits did tend to make her run around less dressed, or in skin-tight pants, which I seem to draw a lot as well. Clothes are nice. " | |

| 13 Apr 2006 | Gully Lady | Loading...I like so many others am glad to see a good picture of Goldmoon! I have seen other pictures here but, this is the first one to move me to write. I am particularly Glad to see her dressed in this outfit and not skimply little clothes. Please keep up the good work. I am not an artist but, I am a great appreciator. Thank you for brightened an semi-invalid's day. Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: I've done searches myself for the characters here. I think I only found one other of Riverwind, and I don't recall the Goldmoon ones. I was inspired by Larry Elmore's take on her clothes, and added some touches of my own. I personally like the corset belt. Thank you for taking the time to comment, I might not answer right away but I do read and appreciate them when I get them. " | |

Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: *bows* thank you. I've been reading DL stuff on and off, it's tough when the library only has two or so of a trilogy, I always wait until I can read it all at once. I am impatient thatway. "

It would be nice if everyone would love whatever I drew and I could make lots of quids doing whatever I wanted to draw, but unfortunately life isn't like that (except for Amy Brown ). "
| 6 Jan 2007 | Andy... Who is in fact a girl, not a boy | Loading...I think the sketch looks just fine. I think that the bit of crookedness to her eyes gives her a bit of a more human appearance... ya know, not quite perfect but absolutely beautiful Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Why, thank you. It is true about the face stuff, real people aren't perfect! When I look at photos of myself really grinning, I always want to go and fiddle "The jaw is all whacked out!" Thanks for stopping in. " | |
