This ides has been kicking around in my head for quite some time, only now have I really needed it ( to fill up that required 4 pictures to put up a gallery). I wasn't able to ink it before the opportunity of a scanner produced itself, and I don't feel like messing with it more on the computer right now. This is the most Sci-fi picture I have been able to come up with so far! <:) My first robot. :)
Scottish Humor: The Texan visitor to a bar in Glasgow's Gallowgate caused a bit of a stir when he dismissed the drinking capacity of the locals by announcing that he would bet £100 that nobody could drink 12 pints of export beer without a break. There were some mutters, but nobody came forward to accept the challenge. One Glasgow lad, wee Shug, even slouched out of the bar. But he came back 15 minutes later and asked if the bet was still on. The Texan said 'sure' and got the barman to set up the twelve pints. Without hesitation, the wee Glasgow man drank them all down without a stop, leaving the dozen empty glasses on the counter. The other drinkers cheered as the Texan graciously handed over the £100. As he did so, he asked the Glaswegian (who was by now, swaying slightly) 'Why did you not take the bet right away? Why did you go out first?' Wee Shug replied 'I just went to the pub across the road to check first that I could drink twelve pints in a row.'

Nacho Man! Lol that's great. I like the idea, I think that someday if we have robots, they might feck up and turn out like this. I like the overall sketchiness of the picture, and the smoke really stands out. (Which is good)

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Wouldn't that be scary? Suddenly, all over the world, people who burn veggies will be "Shut Down"! I am happy you got a laugh from this! 2 (It's always sad for me to see pictures that haven't had a comment in over a year! I need to "advertise" more for my sci-fi gallery I guess!) "

hehe that's so sweet 2 apart from the humour I like how you made the contrast between the movement of the two characters stand out - the human is shown in his natural, fluent movements and the robot in its clumsy stiffness. Love it!

1 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: *bows with a florish* Thank you! This is one of my favorites, and I am glad you like it! 2I never really paid that much attention to the differences in the contrast in movement before, I guess it just came so naturally I didn't think about it! It's always interesting to come back to a picture and consider it again with something pointed out by an observer. 2"
