Something you don't see often, a *hairy* man in Elfwood! He is hunting for dinner, or is dinner hunting for him? There is a swamp dragon that inhabits this area, hopefully it just had dinner and won't bother our hero.
Scottish Humor:An advertisement in an Edinburgh newspaper read 'For sale. Genuine leopard-skin coat. Spotless condition.'

I love this piece... Very good pose,Good setting. I like his face, too. He doesn't need a beard.

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Thank you and I am glad you agree with me about the no beard thing 2"

This is great!! I wouldn't change anything unless you wanted to add color - but this is great as it is. I see a great story here. Hope you don't mind if I stare at him a while and see if more unfolds - I promise to give you credit if I write anything. 2

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Funny, I'd forgotten that this comment was for this one until I came here to copy it to my Sweetheart's computer so that I could color it... "

Very nice. His face does look younger than his body. It doesn't necessarily need beard or mustache, but some form of aging. Shadow might help, or just other lines to suggest an older face.

Or he could be like Michael J. Fox...who, at 50, will still look about 18.

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: I like the M.J.F. explanation. 2"

What the...*LOL* That is me! Were you lurking in the bushes ... 1 haha. Good pic. Nice to see a real man, not a manga androgynous. 2

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Now why would I do such a thing? (Too bad they don't have an innocent looking smilie "

Hes not too young to be so hairy. Hes not all -THAT- hairy anyway. Look, only a line on his stomach 1 I was harier than that at 19 14

Its a cool pic. Like most of the other posters I think its nice to find some men with at least some traditionally masculine traits. There are too many androgynous pretty boys in the woods!

18 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "  Jenny's Note: Yep, yep, everyone is different and develops different. Re: "pretty girls that are really boys": Yeah tell me about it! I saw a Mod's choice today where I was amazed they didn't say it was a guy who just looked like a girl! I am getting parinoid nowdays about the Anime/Manga styles..."Um, I think it's a girl...??" Thanks for the comment! 2"

Ok, what is it with you and scantily dressed peoples?

2 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note:Quite simple actually, with this one he lives in a hot place. 2 As for the others, when I put a lot of effort into the anatomy I don't really want to cover all that work up. On the other hand, when I am feeling lazy I use clothes to cover up the anatomy I don't want to draw (legs under a dress, that sort of thing). 2"

Is it me or is his head a bit small? Maybe a lack of brains *hihi*
Love Rian

1 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: *laughs* Possibly, I guess one doesn't really need that many brains in the smart sense to live in the swamp, just gotta keep yourself alive. <2"

This picture begs the question "what's in the sack?" 2 I love the facial detail and of course the sheer mass of hair. I know this is probably a silly question (the silly questions are often the most annoying) but what is the spearhead made out of? I assume its wooden, like the shaft, but I just had to ask.

18 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: What's in the sack? You're the writer, you probably have a better story for it than I! 1 No the spearhead Q wasn't the reason why I hadn't replied to your comment yet (I end up saving comments meaning to get around to them then it ends up longer than I want it to be...argh..but I do reply! 2 ) After talking another look at the picture, you are right, it is wood, I was thinking of how they harden it in fire...Or something. I am pretty sure that I read it in a book. <2"
