SciFi and Fantasy Art Namika by Jenny M. Heidewald

This was drawn as a Portrait Adoption. piece for Camilla Grow, Namika is a 4' high nixie (and my second adopted piece! Thank you Camilla! :):) ). Camilla's description is as follows: 'She's a courtesan, so she tends to be on the seductive side at times to keep her client's interest. She loves to dance, and really, perform in any way. She's _not_ the type of courtesan who jumps into bed with anything and everything, though. She's a high-class one, kind of like a scantily-clad geisha. (Have you ever tried swimming in a long, modest dress?) ' As a side note, I did this on my birthday, and I really like how she turned out, this was after a streak of hating everything I drew. I was also inspired by a Moderator's choice, the one with a dragon critter under the sea on a reef.
Scottish Joke: John was touring the Highlands and called in at a remote bar for a 'wee refreshment'. He noticed an impressive stag's head on the wall and commented to the barmaid 'That's a great trophy you have there.' The barmaid looked balefully at John and replied 'That stag killed my husband.' John was shocked at this information and enquired 'Was he out stalking on the hills and got too close?' The barmaid shook her head and responded: 'No. It fell off the wall onto his head.'
