The first mermaid I've done in a looooonnnngg time...a kind of comission, but I dunno if the lady is going to really but it or not... I like how I did her tail, I mean the fins are totally different from the standard mermaid...I did two versions of her, becasue I kind of ruined the frist one, her eye didn't work out :\ but this one is better...total time working on it? Ummmm, solid hours? Maybe 4 solid days in all?Ok maybe 6...I dunno...started her in April while in Maryland listening to Old Blind Dogs, the original mermaid is still pencil... The bubbles were the funnest part. [I had to crop it a lot since it is so big, the water was the hardest boringest part, I have to say.]
Scottish Humor:Scotsmen hate to see waste, no matter where it is. So when Jock saw the Niagara Falls for the first time he said it was a waste of water - and a plumber in Dundee could fix them in half an hour.

>.> I'm probably going to have my head chewed off for saying this, but for some reason, she looks like a drag queen mermaid. I'm not saying I don't like it! But I just get that kinda vibe off the pic. I have no idea why.

But god, I LOVE her hair. Amazing.

How does all that makeup even stay on underwater?

12 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note11 am guessing it's oil-based."

I love her hair and makeup, the design is cute, too! The only thing that gets me is her torso looks a little manly. You should soften her stomach and make her skinnier. Other than that, she's the prefect mermaid. With the cutest tail!

2 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note(I'm back from crazy wedding planning!): I agree about the stomach muscles looking a bit too defined for a feminine critter, but I don't know about making her skinnier, longer and sleeker instead of so chunky( softening sounds good 2 )? Er...wait..isn't that is the same as making her skinnier... ah well! I've learned from this one though, I'm glad you like her tail! Thanks for the constructive comment! <2"

It's really cool. But if her hair had been coclred, it would have been even better!! Excellent.
