Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: I am flattered you like it so much but am sad that you think you are the worst drawer ever. We all start out the same way, and though it is hard when you want to be really good NOW ( I feel that way a lot concerning things like perspective and coloring/lighting ), you just have to keep at it. Do it because it makes you happy, that is the soul of drawing. I wish you had left an e-mail addy, if you come back please check out the books by Lee Hammond, or Jack Hamm, they helped me tons. And if you like pretty elves check out Elfquest stuff. Keep at the drawing! "

| 12 Jul 2004 | Tamago egg_green@yah...com> | Loading...This one looks very much like the Grey Elves in my D&D campaign. In case you don't know, grey elves are the very isolated Elves that live in the mountains, and believe that they have the purest bloodline of all the Elves. So it looks Elvish, almost to the point of being TOO elvish! Very cool! Keep up the good work! Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Yay for D&D (though I have only played it once)! I wanna live isolated in the mountains...except I'd need the internet.. < I bet the ears cool them down, like those certain foxes. Thank you for dropping by and leaving the informative comment!" | |

It's because of his eyes; like twin pools that have no end. There's an alien quality to him that lends to the idea that he comes from another realm. I would not want to stumble across him in the woods. Excellent work; you've really captured the mysterious elfish spirit. Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: I didn't realise he had that much draw to keep someone coming back to him ( awful pun I know! ), it's the ol' mysteriousness...tall dark and alien lookin'... I agree he does look a bit creepy, I'd imagine that meeting a nelf would rather be like that, they might look a bit like us but their mind works in a totally different way. For the most part. Thanks for the lovely comment! "
| 30 Dec 2004 | C. Jared Henderson | Loading...I'm glad to see you still have this up...it was the first thing I saw when I found Elfwood years 'n years ago, and it still amazes. Actually, if there's any chance I'd love to buy a print... It's good to see that you've continued putting your talent and skill to use, as well. Awesome! In short, thanks. Jenny M. Heidewald replies: " Jenny's Note: Wow, that is awesome to know! I never really thought about one of my pictures being the first someone has seen on Elfwood. Elfwood was smaller back then compared to now, but at the tikme I joined it seemed huge. . This was among the first of the pictures I had put up on Elfwood, and will probably always be here. I'll contact Ellen Million about making a print for you, she is on vacation until the 12th so it'll be a little bit. I'll contact you with more info via private-mail. Elfwood just updated my page so there is some new stuff to look at. Thank you, and you're very welcome. " | |

Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: I have yet to get Tas right so I'll probably try him again, though my other pictures are saying " Him again, you haven't even given *US* a chance to come out on the paper yet!We demand equal time!" | 25 Apr 2005 | Lawenta | Loading...Great. He´s not only human with pointy ears, he´s completely strange race. In fact, I don´t like these "bigger ears = truer elf" types of elves, but there you´ve exaggerated it so that he seems like horned one. Strange thougt, but once I dreamt about silver-horned elves. Many years after I realize that horns are symbol of power and majesty... It fits, don´t it? Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Have you ever seen the ones with the really really long ears, those are pretty funny. *Scratches head* I don't quite understand the first sentence, I didn't think he looked particularly human...? But I agree the ears are pretty big/long for him, what can I say, Elfquest influence. < Your dream sounds really interesting, silver horned elves...Now were these horns part of the ear or like horns coming out of his skull? Thanks for the interesting comment, and it does fit. "
| 30 Apr 2005 | Dar'ith Tal'Rith | Loading...*Puts the pic on her computer background to bug brothers* Heh heh heh....I've changed the background so much it isn't funny. I like this piccy tho. ^.~ Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: I do that to my husband as well, "Tired of looking at that train he has up, let's look at a cute faerie mouse!" *LOL*" | |

| 10 Jul 2007 | Lucie Mueller | Loading...Wow... Pictures like that inspired me to draw. Really. And they do that wonderful thing even now...(takes her pencil and a blank paper...) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Wow, I'm really flattered, it's pretty cool to inspire someone. Thank you for sharing that with me! " | |
