A commission, done of a character from Everquest, a Gnome cleric. :) I found an awesome way to do leaves on trees and bushes, by using watercolor pencils! This is one of my best drawings.
Scottish Humor:Willie was in a hurry taking his 8-year-old son to school, and by mistake he turned into a one-way-street, going the wrong way. 'Uh-oh, I just made an illegal turn!' Willie said. 'Aw, Paw, it's okay' the son said. 'The police car right behind us did the same thing.'

i'm not notice that it was made in color pencil media (it doesn't look that way in thumbnail). U know what, pencil color is one of my lack in drawing. Once, i have draw using it, and it really difficult me to sharpening all the time (since i'm not a very patient artist or som'n like that)

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note:That is why you get a electric sharpener. 2 That is the best thing for colored pencils anyways, because the leads break less and you save time. I need to have mine sent from AZ!"

This one is cute, Jenny. Yay for nonhumans, especially the little ones! Gnomes just don't get enough attention!

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Those elves are just too irresistible for most people to not draw them all the time. 2 I am happy that this one turned out so well!"

This shows sortof girl power. Did you want it like that?

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Yep, that is what the character is like. 2"

Wow the grass is simply amazing, how long did it take you? The background adds sooo much to the picture. The clothing is great! Well done!

1 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note:*does happy dance* Someone noticed the grass I worked so tediously long on! (Though I probably should have had her standing in grass or on a path to explain that bare dirt better! <2 ! How long did it take me...Hmmmm... I think I worked on it on and off for a few days, maybe four hours for the grass? I did a lot of tweaking, I shaded some bits with blueish green and some with yellowish green so it wouldn't all blend together. Grass is certainly a lot easier to do with paint rather than pencils! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 2"

That is an amazeing teqneque for leaves I should remember that. They are soo hard. Good job.2

2 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Leaves are just so repetitive, it's like drawing scales. This way you still have to draw the form, but it's easier because you don't have to be as neat about it because you are going to "melt" it together anyways. 2"

E-mail me if you could please cause i would do a drawing trade with you if you want.

12 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's note: What did that elf do to get that name? "Don't let him eat beans!" <2 I have too much on my plate to handle right now, but if you get to be #100 or #300(main page) I will be most happy to take your request. Sorry about that."

Its really good.I hate it when I am drawing leaves or something and I screw up or something, leaves are really agrivating. any who great drawing!

18 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Colored pencil takes forever the way I do it. I keep telling myself that I don't need to draw each leaf, but I do anyways! 14 It's way easier to make trees in oil or acrylic painting! Luckily, what with computers now, if you make a mistake you can always fix it. Photoshop canbe a really good friend. 2 of course I love having originals that look the same way online and on paper. I admire the artists who get perfect paintings/drawings on "real" media. oops, that got a bit long! Thank you for stopping by and commenting, it's appreciated, and keep at those trees!"
