	Another son of Fëanor (my fave family...;-)). Done in pencil & coloured pencils. When drawing him, I had Vincent Cassel in mind, I kinda used him as a 'model'. I was even thinking of one particular photo, and if you're familiar with it, you may recognize its influence on this picture. There's of course also a lot of LotR movie influence.

3 Dec 2003	Malva	Loading... I for one think that this is a very good portrayal of Caranthir. I can well recognize a hotheaded arrogant son of Feanor in him and the sharp features, I think, are very fitting. The hair is also very well done. As to the upper two comments, I would like to know where it is stated that Elrond is the only elf with long dark hair and that elves can't have prominent noses. Great picture! Good to see some Silmarillion character art ^___^ Helena Štìpánová replies: "Thank you. I only wish that there were not so much movie in it. (Though I love Peter Jackson's LotR movies...)"
