Tag As FavoriteComment		Done in pencil and watercolour. But the colouring was so bad, that I had to play with it in Photo Express for a while. The 'age' filter is such a fine thingie... The position of his hands is not OK, but I quite like the whole thing.

This is one of the best pictures I have seen on elfwood! Seriously, the composition is great. I'm guessing he's standing on the balcony of a castle far away from the sea. The way the sky and the birds in the mini picture correspond with the outer picture...brilliance.

Very moody and atmospheric. I like the sea-birds and the wall - all very detailed. And! Thanks for drawing him dark-haired, as he's meant to be. 2

:-) Helena Maddiel Stepanova replies: "Um. He's not exactly dark-haired. (Neither am I sure that he's "meant to be" - it's all up to the reader...)My Legolas is actually blond. No... That's not exactly it... Certainly not platinum...1 It's more something like dark gold. Brown in fact, but with some golden tint and few fairer stripes... Someday I may draw a coloured Legolas, so you may have a look...;-)Thanks a lot for the comment."

Sooo cool. He looks kinda like a vampire, which is wierd but my opinion, so therefore reminds me of the Vampire Louis de Pont du Lac from The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. Only an elf. O_o

This is very good but Legolas looks just a little too old for me. I know Elves are ageless but Legolas is a young, innocent Elf. Here he looks like Elrond or Celeborn, Elves who have seen the world and are serious and stern. It is is a wonderful picture, though.

the shading is as usual really great, you can really nearly feel the storm. his arms look a bit stiff though i feel, like they’re not really resting naturally on the stone wall. maybe also their size is a bit off. i like the frame in the middle of the picture2!
