Tag As FavoriteComment		I made this piece for Taurcon 2004, a convention my friends organized. The inspiration for this was a song - Freitod Phantasien by Sopor Aeternus and Anna Varney Cantodea herself (himself if you prefer). The whole idea was inspired very strongly by a photo of Anna Varney, so strongly, I'm almost ashamed for stealing the concept. After seeing the pic, someone pointed out to me, that it looks exactly like Marilyn Manson in one of his videos. After looking at certain vidcaps I had to admit that it's true and I even remembered seeing the video once. So it is very likely, that Manson's video may have influenced me on some subconscious level, although I was not aware of it. So if you noticed that too - I know about it. But the main inspiration source was Sopor Aeternus and my interest in anything branch/tree/forest-like.

I like it! And, the video is "The Nobodies" that's the first thing I thought of when I saw it, that's Marilyn Manson. But back to my point, it's wonderfully done! I'm impressed. It's great. *Must check out the rest of your work*.

It is nice to see some art inspired by Sopor, i have liked his/her stuff for several years now and have just about everything he has ever done (with the exception of corpse standing), I am not sure if Anna would like the pic though as it makes her too "male" and he/she has always liked the whole androgenous look, though it is very nicely done.

I hope to see more from you in the future
