This is sometimes how i feel... if you dont care what this means at all skip the next paragraph

I have been described more than once, by myself and others, as a novelty. i think i love collecting them because i can relate to them. There is not another one quite like it, be it a one of a kind, or hand painted by an artist. Unfortunately novelty can get boring, and broken. A broken novelty is someone who is too unique for their own good, and gets hurt along life's journey because others just dont understand or appreciate them. I chose a carousel horse because they are novelties, and i could use "ling" as a representation of me again. the rose saddle represents somebody in my life, who is called "rose" by some, who has been particularly .... unfair to me because i am this way. i love being different, but sometimes it gets hard to stand alone, and you just break down

6 Jul 2009	Bubblez	Loading... I know how you feel, because it happens to me too. I am different, and so considered a target. Sometimes i can ignore it, but it is hard to keep hanging in there. Just remeber that its good to be different, because if we were all the same it would be too boring. Unique is good! Excellent art by the way, i think you are really talented. Im learning now to embrace my uniqueness, even if it does cause me trouble at times. and work on the parts of myself that need to mature at the same time. its a lot of work! lol"

14 Jul 2009	Corly iris galloway	Loading... well i dont know if this will help, but i have learned personally that when no one happens to understand you it forces you to fend for yourself. and then the demons that creates inside you is actually the best way to find creative inspiration. its an ugly truth that the best artists led miserable lives, and they became great because they learned to focus the pain into their art Heather helloheath hitchman replies: "its so true, you need misery in your life to create great work, because for whatever reason, happiness doesnt seem to be as inspiring. I think people emphasize with others pain more than rejoice in another’s joy. Also, creating art usually comes from the need to work out bad emotions, not the good ones. I try now to be inspired by both the good and the bad in life, looking deeper into the good parts of life so that they dont seem to "boring" i guess "

30 Jul 2009	Sarah Fragore Roper	Loading... hey your not the only one love. i am a broken novelty too. i have but 3 friends. the rest abandoned me because i am different. people think i am so tough, but i just never let them see me cry. it gets too much, but at least we aren’t like sheep, we dont follow crowds. this is a beautiful picture Heather helloheath hitchman replies: "thanks being a follower rarely gets people anywhere, so id rather be the leader even if its harder"
