| 21 Mar 2004 | Mackenzie Shier | This is a nice start, just keep drawing and you'll get tons better. It's taken me 16 years to draw the oddly formed things that I draw, so just doodle on margins and on notes and on everything, and you will get better. Or at least be more amused by drawing than by listening to teachers droning on and on and on... David G. Flynn replies: "Been there, done that, uploaded two pictures done in Chemistry class. Keep a look out for them soon " | |

| 10 Dec 2004 | Joonas Tupala | You with that knife, i don't know do i dare to say anything creative.. Nice start, but to improve.. Draw more and more.. Even , with my messy drawings, have several years of hard practicing on my belt. Start from the simple, don't stuck in the big overall... even though it would be nice, but you need to train some of your quite basics. Woman is hard to draw right, train that really ***** hard. Remember also scetching, it's important. Find also the best working techinque for yerself. Well, there was some little advice, and remember, everyone does it in his/her own way. Good luck. David G. Flynn replies: "Yes, the knife is quite dangerous looking... Thanks for the help, I'll try to remember it." | |
