This is another coloring test of one of the pages of my comic book. In this scene the Orc Mogul refuses to use Iain (Yes, it's Iain, addicted to some nameless drug and as a slave of the Orc) as a bate for the phantom rebel after which the book will be named: the ram. This is done with markers and color pencil shading. I am almost satisfied with the effects.

I love it!

This reminds me of the scene in Jaba's palace from Starwars Return of the jedi. @_@

I think it looks really good! How did you put the text in? Is that done on the computer or do you have such a nice handwriting (handschrift) Are colourmarkers "kleurpotloden"? If so then it's amazing how good this looks. I can't get the colouring done right.
I also like the way the middle picture is seen from a whole different viewpoint. The whole looks really professional!

o_O I think it's a hooka. And if your sister's mind can be 'blackened' by that, I think she probably already had some ideas in her head anyway 10
Meep! Sorry. I actually just wanted to comment on the construction of the page and the coloring. Awesome composition on those panels, very easy to follow, and the coloring media turned out really well.

:-) Henning Janssen replies: "Ha! Right! Hooka! That´s one way to call it. I think these things are referred to as waterpipes. Thanks for the compliments (and your support) by the way."

Ummmm. What is he sticking into that Guys Mouth? Do I even want to know? I don't think you should put pictures of that on a site accessible to Children. My little sister's mind has been blackened from just that one image.

I think you should keep your personal fantasies to yourself.

:-) Henning Janssen replies: "It is a pipe, Ever seen these things in an old movie in an arabian tent (whoops! Hey guy´s from the FBI! I just used one of THE words!)It is used for drugs - maybe we should offer one to George Walker B, so he can play with that instead with his GUNS and keep the peace!Amen to that!...Halleluuuuuja!"

Hi!

You've actually drawn an (over) 47 pages comic? That is very, very impressive... And I should know; I've thumbnailed a nearly 80p one where I've drawn 20, and I'm exhausted (although I enjoy working with it, of course). Besides, I haven't coloured it either!

How much time have you put in the comic? How much time do you put in one page? Is it published?

Concerning your art, it's so clean and detailed; I love it. I'd be very interested in getting to know more about you process in creating this comic!

Err.. I feel I have a bit in common with you... I'm born -74 and likes to draw comics (although I very seldom actually finish anything). Very nice example of a page. I know how much work you have to put into those buggers. Would like to see more.

:-) Henning Janssen replies: "Thanks, Daniel! Really appreciate it from you! I actually did finish about 15 complete volumes of graphic novels. Few coloured and none edited put I really did put a lot of work in those buggers!Nice form of practicing techniques!!!"

Anyone who's got a problem with this has major issues and is waaay to up tight.

:-) Henning Janssen replies: "indeed ... it actually is inspired by Jabba from Return of the Jedi. Only that this ugly fat creature has the former king as slave! And yes! There is dope in that waterpipe! So what? Guess nobody would take offence if someone got slaughtered? Thanks for your support!"
