Another pic inspired by what I saw in the Two Towers. An entire army of celtic or viking type horsepeople charging down the hill. Front left is Boar again - the armour I made for a LARP with a different leather cap. ... hope you like it.

This is incredible! I have to agree with the majority of the other comments: I have no clue how you drew all of those legs correctly without losing your mind...

What I really like about this image, though, is how closely it relates to the 'Charge of the Rohirrim' scene from "The Return of the King" (sans river)...months before the film came out! 0_0

(Walks off rambling incoherently...)

:-) Henning Janssen replies: "Well that I can answer easily enough. It is not like ROTK has had the first charge of riders ever. As I like placing my drawings more in the dark ages style they usually have mixed armours of different origins, these would be celtic/germanic/viking-ish.How does one draw so many horses? Start with one and leave room for more?"

What really impresses me is how you create such an epic image, and still pay attention to every little detail. Very lifelike!

Nicely done!

the drawing is very good... you should colour 'em and sell them, maybe you get to be a Famous artist!

There's no water-splash around the hooves of the horse on the far left.

The detail scares me in this piece. There's so much going on! It would be really neat if the picture kept going to the left with all this detail. It would make an absolutely awesome painting, one of those long ones that has very little height to it.

Wow, this picture already is so good, if you’d color it there would be no doubt you’d get a Mod’s Choice. That would be so cool.
