SciFi and Fantasy Art The Black Dragon by Henning Janssen

Dark, evil, but gracefull this dragon is gathering his followers at the beginning of time to try and finally be victorious. Hey ... and guess what: He will even be available on greetingcards within a few weeks!!! Hope you enjoy the picture. The scails certainly drove me nutts! Think it is somehow in the style of 18th and 19th century biological studies. A bit static maybe, but hey - it´s one of my first attempts on a 'real' dragon. (coloured pencil on A4)

27 Jul 2005	Gahiro	Loading... The only thing thats looks odd is his back leg, everything else is amazingly good!!!! Hey hes shedding too! Isnt it hard to draw all those scales?! Your better at drawing than i am.... Ah well! Ill try some more!
27 Jul 2005	Emily Graham	Loading... He looks like he's shedding his skin like a snake . . . I like the dragon but snakes creep me out, especially the whole shedding thing. I love the wings; they look like a bat's.

As is, it seems they are just floating there... the teeth also seem a bit ockward... I rather think he would have a hard time actually eating smth... and his hind leegs doo seem a bit too thick... but please note that these are just my own opinions and they are taken from my own standard for dragons... so by no way do I mean to say that what you did is wrong... far from it... your pic is very nice and detailled...

That's what I call disgusting. Get a life, loser; or go get high on something seeing that's what you sound like; a drug addict. Anyways, you're art has always been a favorite of mine. Please please please post more when you get the chance.
