Henk Brouwer replies: "The drawing was originally made for a sci-fi setting but it would fit into a fantasy setting as well, A humid dungeon, or a moldy cavern would suit them just as well ."

Nothing against fairies and dragons, but it is really refreshing to see something new and wonderfully strange. Congratulation to the Mods Choice. Henk Brouwer replies: "Thanks The chances that aliens would look anything like us are very remote. I tried to make it look alien, with as few as possible recognizable limbs. It's most likely quite an unpractical build for a creature, but hey, it was fun to draw "

Lovely design too, it truly looks like an lien -Michelle Henk Brouwer replies: "I used a mouse, but I really should get myself a wacom. Actually the reason why I haven't done so yet is that I almost never use the computer for drawing. The reason for that is probably the fact that I haven't got a wacom... So there's a vicious circle there.. which could be broken by buying a wacom.. I'll try and get myself one "

Good for the rest of the people here you don't do that every day or they wouldn't get any, hehe. Is this the sort of stuff you find under your microscope these days? I'm impressed again by your ability to make a personality show from even the weirdest of creature shapes. Henk Brouwer replies: "Sadly the stuff I find under my microscope is a little bit more mundane. It's still good for inspiration though "

Like in this case a head, and tentacles. I tried to avoid having them look like things I'm familiar with, but that's almost impossible. "
