This one was done in pencil, (with some editing on the computer to repair things my scanner did to it) It's a good thing that I'm not an architect most of my buildings would collapse in seconds.

Yeah, I found some hidden pictures there. The girl in the rock... Looks like a fairy. Look at the claw-shaped-rock in the backgroung. The light part looks like a fairy.

There's a wizard too, on the castle rock.

And one of the towers look like a lantern... [=

:-) Henk Brouwer replies: "Now I see the fairy, the wizard though, escapes my view.."

Well now as for collapsing that is a matter of materials and tecniques. this gravity defying sculptural appearance really appeals to me. maybe it couldn't have been done in simpler time with simpler tecnologies (except with the aid of magic, itstelf a complex tecnology or at least it can be looked at that way), but with ferrocemnt and fiberglass virtualy no shape is any longer entirely impossible.

=^^=

:-) Henk Brouwer replies: "Fiberglass, somehow that does not sound right in a fantasy setting, I'll stick with magic 1"

Great! And to think that everyone says I use detail! Sheesh! You put me to shame!

I wonder how the construction crew got onto that rock? Seriously, though, I like your style.

If the constructors where wizards or faes or had winged transport or ... so many other possibilities. This isn`t real so they can go there by anything you can imagine, right?
I just looove bridges over abysses. ^____^"

:-) Henk Brouwer replies: "Me too, for as long as I don't need to be on the other side 1. No fear of heights, but this one looks slightly unstable 1 "

I really like your funny, fairy-tale drawings. I think this is one of the best.
