| 23 Apr 2001 | Rachel N. Bobbitt | Amanda mentions she's from Oregon in 'Worlds Between'. It seems Oregonians always find a way to bring it up. People writing characters from states they haven't lived in generally pick California, New York or the Midwest. At least, that's what I've noticed. ;-) The Author: I've noticed that, too. I forgot Amanda was from Oregon. | |
| 2 May 2001 | Faraz Hussain | I just read Draques (whatever).... It has great detail, and unlike other stories that I have read, it is actually interesting to read all of the detail. Could you e-mail me (I'm at school and I don't exactly have a pen lying around)? Thanks! | |
| 8 May 2001 | Chris A. Heisserer | I like your work a lot. It has a nice style to it, and the reading is easy to understand. I think your Draquus story will be an excellent novel if you ever finish... it has a nice ring to it all, and the placement and storyline is unique and far enough from other stories that it looks original. Keep up the good work. If you could.......... maybe...... peek over at my site if you get the time. I'm in desperate need of criticism, and no one seems to want to give me any. | |
| 22 Jun 2001 | William A. Clayton | Hi Victoria, and thanks for reading my book, "Dragon Around"! I appreciate your comments, and critique. Ah, those loose ends that troubled you are dangling in the sequel, "Dragon Ahead", waiting for you to take them up and follow their lead further and I hope you'll give that book a try as well. I enjoyed the two works of yours I have read thus far, and shall read more when time permits. Thanks again! | |
| 21 Nov 2002 | brooke hershiser <crazystars5@net...net> | Hey I was just kidding around and I typed my last name in to the search engine and you came up...K well bye bye Victoria R. Hershiser replies: " That's interesting, I wonder if we're related? Hershiser's not exactly a common last name." | |
| 19 Mar 2003 | Andrew R. Wynn-Williams | Victoria ... I only had the opportunity to read a few of your your works. I am impressed though. You are versatile, imaginative and have good technique. You seem to have a fairly natural ability to balance detail versus plotline and your narrative doesn't wander from character to character.
I also like the way you try different things ... like the fake history/diary of the draqus.
good work. | |
| 23 Apr 2003 | Tina Cox | I enjoyed reading these... You have a really fun style! Thanks! | |
