This image is from a project where I created an imaginary place called Hexley.  It is set in 1895 and the town is a centre for science and learning - where strange inventions are created.

Balloon carriages are a common form of transport in Hexley - they allow heavy loads to be carried more easily and are fuelled by a crop grown and processed in the area.

Painted in watercolour with dip pen and ink.

Very well done, but if it should be realistic (it doesn’t have to!) the balloon is way too small and off balance... Keep up the good work and let us see more of Your "inventions"!
