Well, I finally did a color picture - computer colored, if you'd believe that... it started as an experiment. I drew the elven woman with black ink on paper in order to fool around with Photo Express 2.0 I just got, and it turned out so cute, that I had to put it for the world to see. Obviously, the face itself is awful, but I like it just the same. I tried to make the hair look silvery (she seemed to be an old and wise elf), I'm not sure it does.

14 Jul 2002	Kevin Domangue	Loading... Kudos on the coloring, Hila. Looks almost like watercolor, so bright and cheerful. I myself lack the patience required to color with software, and lack the skills to do it in any other fashion I really can't see anything wrong with the face, either. It's very elfy and composed and wise, like the queen she undoubtedly must be.

26 Jun 2003	Kirsten R. Johnson	Loading... I'm really not trying to be mean, this is a fair drawing, but i think the face is awfully long. Her ear is great, very elvish, and the hair is nicely drawn. The crown's a bit too cliche as tiaras come, and the shirt looks kind of like those flower-girl dresses that your mother makes you wear to school with the over-puffy sleeves. The coloring is pretty good, except the hair is kind of weird how it slips from grey to black. i love the background though. The eyes look very oriental. Overall, an okay piece.
