All I can say after looking through your gallery is wow. The pictures are gorgeous and all the celtic knotwork..O_o My poor little mind can't even grasp how to do those...

alright then your awesome, and you know it, that being said i have to ask you a question. how do you come up with all your background ideas? (and so you know i'm not trying to steal your ideas, its just for inspiration on the finishing of my leg tattoos) i'm having some trouble figuring out just the right ending to a sieres of tattoos on my leg and you seem to be the best all-around artist i've really ever seen therefore i would like to beg you to please e-mail me with some helpful hints if you would be so kind. Know that you would get a very large portion of gratitude and a huge place in my heart of the most powerfully awesome people ever met in the course of this life.

Your gallery is amazing!!! Your style is magnificent and I just love it. It reminds me of old book illustrating. several of your pictures would be great book covers.

You have a beautiful collection of equally beautiful work. You are a great artist, and your understanding of mythology is greatly in-depth and much appreciated. You show much respect and beauty in each myth you represent in your art. I must abruptly and awkwardly ask, are you a believer in the goddess? I must also complement your use of symbols in all your works and the moon in nearly all of them.

Hildybrant replies: "I havent been here at Elfwood for a long time, but here I am and I read your comment and thought it appropriate to answer your question regarding the Goddess: I feel that the Goddess as much as the God is a personification of force that acts and flows on and through all things in a material, psychological, and spiritual way. I am not so sure that I could truly understand the concept of divinity and in a way I take an agnostic stance. I do however hold in high regard the understanding of comparative religion and mythology and when I see the parallels that exist quite strikingly between two separate religions or philosophies I get excited, inducing an identification and I guess an understanding of the Goddess. All Gods and Goddesses hold a place within my psyche and I suppose my art as well. Thank you for your wonderful words."

Please forgive my rude and personal question from before, it is only my curiosity and the beauty of your art in regard to the myths of the past that moved me to do so.
