At least I think so, found a link to your gallery from an ancient forum post ;D Greetings! *shakes paws* You have an amazing gallery, and I'll definitely come back to comment on individual pictures once my classes release me for the day. Great stuff Gareth L. Holden replies: "heh for a second there I thought you said Planescape since im working in a mod team for NWN project doing Planescape work. But yes i was the same Bigfoot from the PlaneSHIFT community as well. Although I left the art team for them a long way back since the head of the project wasnt that suseptable to other peoples creative ideas which frustrated me but i wont go into that. I do check the old shifter forumns regulary and post on the odd occasion but not often. Thanks for stoping by all the same, hope you enjoy my stuff "

Could you draw a little more of her? she is a great charactor. please if you draw some more of her, email me and let me know. Gareth L. Holden replies: "Thanks for the interest jessica. Havent done much in the way of actual art (ie 2d pen and ink) art in quite some time, as you can see from the last time I updated this gallery . Been mostly consentrating on 3d modeling. Ive been doing and am currently doing some 2d work for concepts for some personal Creature models for Neverwinter Nights, and Ill most likely stick it up here some time soon. As for Sha ive sort of neglected my fantasy world for some time. Shes changed quite a bit from the stuff ive got of her up here. I hope to one day do a little more art from it. cheers"

We still need concept drawings and 3D graphic artists. A little about us - we are students on Danish universities, which means, we cant pay for your work, but we are working on making presentations of the people working on the project. Regards 3D & art coordinater - Annelise Nielsen Gareth L. Holden replies: "Thanks for the Offer there Annelise, I would take it but im currently rather busy. Ive been doing 3D modeling and texture work for a Mod team in the Neverwinter Nights Community, the City of Doors Initiative. As well as some of my own work on the side. Ive been way laid from them for about 2 months now with RL commitments (as well as takeing a bit of a break from NWN in general, my overworking of 3d modeling sortta got me frazzled mentaly). If it wasnt for these prior commitments id deffinatly give your proposition a look. cheers "

By talent,I don't just mean your ability to draw well, but your imaginative creations as well, such as the great armor designs. You don't explain in your bio how you arrived at this pinnacle of ability.. one doesn't get this good just by drawing on the backs of scrap paper! Oh, and I see now that you are are from New Zealand ..that would explain the marsupial warriors!

| 15 Oct 2007 | Gareth (Bigfoot) Holden | Loading...Well, this is a slight bummer I cant remember my damn account or password... not to mention the Email the account uses hasn't been active for 4 years or more so unless I plum my mind to depths unheard off, my gallery isnt realy going to advance beyond whats here, havent been within the Elfwood community in ooooh, 4 years at least. Well as to what ive been doing since then heres a little run down. Artwise very little... Did make a number of 3dmodels for Neverwinter Nights and the CODI team where i go by teh name Bigfoot, and despite my apparent absence from the NWN community the last few years im still doing my best to make content for that most excellent of RPG's. Unfortunatly ive been suffering a number of set backs and havent been the most inspired of people in quite some time. Which kills artistic endeavors rather quickly. My PC has taken many a nose dive, artisticaly my styles changed somewhat, ive also to me, gotten alot better. Our families cat population now includes 4 strays we rehabilitated from feral kittens, and a pet store bought little tortee bringing our total of cats to 8 (minus 2, one that died of old age, and we lost one of the strays to a road accident 2 years ago who we miss greatly)... oh and a small pain in the rear male Pony named Misty (cantankerous little so and so). Elfwood has deffinatly changed vastly since I joined way back in the late 90's ... some for the better some not so. Anyway... Still alive, and good to see some people still happen upon my neck of the woods from time to time. if i ever get the password right, ill probably start throwing up some stuff again. Cheers. | |

| 24 Dec 2009 | Gareth (Bigfoot) Holden | Loading...Eh, you mean I cant use my middle initial in my name to differentiate from perhaps other Gareth Holdens that might end up on Elfwood?... Anyway... damn 2 years since i last dropped by, still dont know my password or account name. Sheesh... gone from gallery 40 to page 10 in Elfwood... things have changed it seems. If anyone reads this and your from the old Verge community or else where, dont hesitate to say hi, I might remember you... ill get back to you in 2012 Anyway Merry Christmas 09 to anyone who might stumble by. Think ill take a little stroll and see if anyone from the early days of Elfwood are still around, back when galleries had about 18 artists to each, and only about 80 galleries in total ... dang 800 pages now, sure has grown. | |
