Never stop doing that! As for artistic comments, you definitely have a good start here. As Chelsea mentioned, you should work on getting proportions and anatomy down -- there are lots of good books and internet tutorials out there that will help you learn how human bodies look from different angles and how you can depict that in your artwork, either realistically or in a more cartoony style. Also keep your eyes open to lights and darks, and how shadows are cast. Looking at black and white artwork and photos will help you with that. Whatever you do, keep drawing! April 'A. P.' Hoag replies: "Thanks! I'm really working on shadow and light but so far I keep forgetting to put my new pics up on my home page. "

Truth is found in nature, so study the world around you. Draw real people and real things. Then when you've mastered realism can you begin to develop your own style. It may seem boring at first, but it will make drawing from your imagination easier.
