OK, I usually don't make comments, just lurk and look, but this piece tells a story that I love. I very much liked the fact that if you look at her left hand you can see that she is about to drop that sword...and perhaps fall victim to the skeleton's attack, unarmed. If he's going to attack or not I don't know. She may just die next to her love.

I was about to comment on the original and decided to view the color version to provide a comparison and more accurate critique. I must say that you have improved upon the original pencil version by several points. The coloring here is truly impressive and helps to enhance the visual appeal of the image. Excellent work on display on both versions.

aw, very clever of you. We are the dead she once loved, or rather seing through his eyes... his dead eyes... that still see... somehow... those lving dead things are tricky with their percieving the senses when their bodies are dead...

Wow! I totally love this one! Very intense picture... cool symbol on the tombstone back there! Her eyes are the most striking part in this picture I think... kinda draws the eye! 10 Very nice colouring and the composition of the picture's really good too!
