Wow, your artwork is incredible. You have a lot of talent, keep putting it to good use.
*sigh* Well, I must add my own two cents to your platform, even if it's the same as what everyone else said, or even if it's different.
Yes, in this day and age, homosexuals should be recognized as couples by whatever country they live in. I think America (not Americans, I'm not judging everyone there, I mean the government) is being a big fat hypocrite. "Human rights" this and "Equal freedom" that. Baloney.
However, forcing an individual of the Church (ie. a pastor, priest, etc.) to perform the marriage ceremony when it is something he or she strongly disbelieves in is also a contradiction of America's self-proclaimed equal rights.
Basically what I mean is, if a certain church, or minister within a church, where the couple wishes to marry is strongly against the issue on account of religion, there should be no fuss made over it by the couple because they would be doing the same thing that they fought so hard for (hypothetically saying that gay marriage is now allowed in America, that is). They should simply respect the beliefs of that certain church or minister and find a different one. Religion is very important to some people, just like love. Both are important to me, as I am a devoted Christian and also in love, and I would be devastated if I was not allowed to be recognized as a couple with my boyfriend.
I'm not judgmental though, so please don't turn your nose up at me because I'm a Christian. My favourite uncle is gay, and my best friend in the whole world is gay and getting married in a couple of months (it's legal in Canada, as most everyone probably now knows). In the bible it says "Men, do not lay with a man the way you would lay with your wife, and women, do not lay with a woman the way you would lay with your husband." (I don't have a bible right here but that's the best I could remember that passage, sorry if anyone sees mistakes) So obviously some close-minded pious folk are going to be quite against homosexuality. But I know there are homosexual Christians, Catholics, Jews, whatever, out there. Self-righteous religious people who condemn others for being homosexuals are some of the biggest hypocrites of all because it also says in the bible not to lie, swear, be rude to your parents, etc. and I'm sure EVERYONE does or has done all those things.
Well, to sum up, everyone's a hypocrite lol (don't worry, I know I am probably one too) and everyone should leave everyone else to what they believe in, including the American government. George Bush can shove his stupid fixed mind up his old, wrinkled a**.

First, I want to say that your art is incredible. You have wonderful talent that I hope to someday acheive.

Second, I admire your courage and strength in such a touchy matter. Anything I could say in praise has already been said.

Thirdly, I would just like to make a point. People keep talking about how priests and ministers may not feel comfortable etc. The Church is not the only institution to marry two people. Jewish weddings are as legal as Christian ones; People can be married by judges, by Elvis impersonators, by people dressed up as aliens (and the last two examples puts into question the whole 'santity of marriage' much more than gay or lesbian couples). In my temple, our last Rabbi was gay. He was the coolest guy, and it was a great honor to learn from him. His boyfriend was a great person, with the most beautiful voice I have had the pleasure of hearing live.

The point that I sort of wandered away from is that priests and ministers are not the only ones endowed with the honor to join two people in wedlock.

Anyway, I'm done.

To the gay-lesbian(hope tira spelled it right) marriage comment. There is even a species of gay giraffes

I was looking through your pictures and when i got to the season fairies the picture wouldn't show up. All I could see was the thing at the top where you scroll through and the posted comments. I couldn't add a comment there so, I commented here. Anyways, do you have any idea why I can't see them? If it could be a problem with the picture that was uplaided, I would appreciate if you tried to change that. If you can't I understand, because it could very well be my computer!

i love your artwork. it is so beautiful. and i read your comments and apparently you had something supporting gay rights. i COMPLETELY AND TOTALY AGREE!!!! whenever i say that to people they think i am homosexual, but for the record i am straight. i wish i could find the tour and post words of approval on all of the pages, but i couldnt find it. sad. anywho... you are amazing and i am putting you on my favorites

I don’t understand why one must be married before a member of the Church in the U.S. Isn’t there supposed to be some kind of separation of Church from state? I am an atheist and omnisexual, and I would never want to have a Christian wedding.
(In response to tirablue) In that particular giraffe species, homosexual couplings are more frequent than hetero/reproduction encounters, even among the males. Female chimpanzees have sex with each other to show respect and affection, and can achieve female ejaculation because of their enlarged ****orises.
