| 5 Feb 2005 | Heidi | Loading...This is One of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen of unicorns! and I have seen ALOT of them. What strikes me is that its very "poster material" you would make lot of money if you got a bright colour example and printed it. Do you work with oil colours also?? Karin Holmström replies: "Thanks for the comments! No, I don´t use oil colours, I prefer acrylics. They get dry much faster! And they´re cheaper. ^_^" | |
| 9 May 2005 | Ashley 'Ariarnith Silver Flame' Mutek | Loading...Wow! This is wonderful. It looks so real, but yet, like a dream all at the same time. The shading is amazing, and the unicorns have such a life about them. | |
| 7 Jul 2005 | Sarah | Loading...actually just to let you know, there is ATLEAST 1 moon of jupiter or saturn that is nothing BUT ice and water; have you people heard of eropa? anyways i love the nice picture Karin Holmström replies: "Yes, I´ve heard of Europa as well as of Callisto and Ganymede which are also icy. However, with "seas" I meant water in liquid form, with shores and waves (and in this case, unicorns ^_^). A very unlikely combination in our solar system. *sigh* Anyway, thanks for the comment!" | |

| 4 Jan 2006 | Lisa Jonsson | Loading...This is great. I love the planets in the background, and that they are so big, yet so close to each other makes a great impression. | |
| 25 May 2007 | J. Thomason | Loading...It reminds me of a nightmare I had. But done so well that I like it a lot! | |
| 19 Jul 2008 | Dixie-chick19 | Loading...wow... LUNICORNS! hehe, anyway, it’s v. good, loving the planets in the background and the water detail. | |
| 27 Aug 2008 | Per Johansson | Loading...Hi Karin! It can be Saturns biggest moon Titan. There may be seas of hydrocarbonates, and who knows what unicorns may tolerate? Realistically speaking, apart from the big planet behind Saturn, I can see one more "problem": When You look at a planet or moon, no part of it can ever be darker than the surrounding sky (try to figure out why, if You not already know it).
Of course You have Your artistic license, and Your art of course doesn’t have to be realistic! It,s a very good drawing, especially the uncorns! | |
