The other night I dreamed that a bunch of winged horses with feathers instead of manes and tails were flying around my house. I was just going to sketch down the feathered mane on a piece of paper to save the idea for later. Then I found myself drawing a lot of jewellery on the horse, just for fun, and this is what it looked like when I was done. I like though. It´s simply a perhaps too overdecorated featherhorse, call it whatever you want...

Very arab inspired jewellery there *winks* Really love the moons hanging off too...

I once tried to do a feathered mane...but went horribley horribley wrong, you can either draw it or you can't, and you certainly can *three thumbs up*

Kudos!

That's some imagination you've got there! I simply love the idea and I must say I don't think it looks strange or wrong at all. You made it all work very well and I acctually didn't 'notice' its mane consisted of feathers until I read the text above the pic. It just worked so well with the rest of the pic that I didn't register there was somethng off about it ^_^ Very well done!

I absolutely love this picture it is MAGNIFICENT. There are no words to describe it. I am a big horse lover and my favorite quote is "Horse, you are truly a magnificent creature for you conquer without sword and fly without wings."

The idea is simply horsefeathers...

I hope one understands the hideous pun ^^;

However this piece is beautiful. I particularly love the Arab setting and jewels.

Maybe you someday find the right world or universe where these creatures live in one of your own or in somebody else's stories. Meanwhile its an gorgious outsider among your equides.
