I have always thought that drawing a flying pegasus is rather difficult. What do they do with their legs when they´re up in the air? It is still a horse with wings; horses don´t fly. However I think this turned out quite well.

I usually draw them with their legs as if they´re jumping, right over an oxer or something. But I guess that could be boring while done it 1000-3000 times ^.^

Love this work!

At first I thought of drawing a jumping horse with wings, but after all it´s supposed to be flying, not jumping and that´s why I let it stretch out more. Actually you could argue over what a flying horse should look like for ages (wing size, legs etc), as no one has ever seen one...wonder why..."

I like the drawing, and yes, the wings are a bit off, BUT, you have the 'atonmy' of the wings right. Some drawings that I've seen don't know HOW a pegasus's wings are supposed to look, and I also agree that it looks like the pegasus is trying to stop in midair.

Prehaps you could try a similar picture with a cliff infront of it?

OCC; Have you ever noticed that when you read books, they say that only good people can ride a pegasus, because they're pure? I can't draw, but I can write, and I'm making an exception.

Wowww, she's beautiful! I love the way you've shaded the mane and tail with pen! You did an awesome job on her porportioning and legs/hooves, keep up the great work!

This is so cool! It looks really good "glowing" to (I put it in a graphics program just to see what it would look like. I didn't save it though. I just had to see what it would look like as a "glowing" line drawing on black background. It is COOL) 2

There are times when people like Nikki really tick me off. They say they can do better? Well, I don't see them proving it. This is really excellent. I've tried my luck with pegasus, but haven't had much success. Perhaps I'll try it again. I think images of pegasus are like images of unicorns. No one really knows what they looked like. It's speculation. Everyone has their own way of drawing these fantastic creatures. I've seen very dainty unicorns, and hugely muscled ones....I prefer the large muscles. Lol. I think it's wonderful that each person who draws unicorns, and pegasus can come up with their own renditions of the animals. Love your gallery, btw. It's awesome!
