Once upon a time there was a fearful dragon, who spread fear and ruin across the land. After sunset he would fly out and back home before dawn. He lived deep in the dark forest, where no light could come. For though the dragon spewd fire, he was no friend of the sun. And no weapon could brake his skin, not speer, not arrow, not sword. But one thing could blunt his claws: A single ray of sun. Then it happened one day... the dragon reached not his lair in time! And in an instant as the sun rose, the terror in the skies was turned to stone.

hehe for a second I thought u were gonna say, "and he turned into a cute little boy" that would have been halarious, but I like ur story better, ya and the fact there is a dragon turned to stone in the picture...but anyways! I really like this picture, the ray of light is awsome

I love it! It reminds me of John Bauer and I definitely love his pictures!

I adore this concept and the way you captured it! I'm very impressed that you managed to tell the story with only the picture, I could tell what the caption would say before it even loaded!

I've been looking at your pictures and i really adore the "Nordic myth" inspired ones, - especially this piece! - it reminds me of where i come from, of when i was younger and had great interest in asamith and the sagas and these pictures remind me of some old feelings and moods when reading books or visiting some of the places still left with remains from the Vikings 1

There is something so exquisitly beautifull and innocent about this. I remember seeing this a few years back, then when i saw it again just then it made me smile to think i could see it again.
<br> well done
