This is my vision of how a Sindar Elf could look. The pencil drawing shows an idealized young blond male Elf of the Sindarin race (based on the stories of Tolkien). He is wearing a simple costume with a belt around the waist and a chain around his neck. In his right hand he's holding a quill and in his left hand a roll of parchment.

Beautifully drawn! Your shading is excellent, his face is very realistic, and I especially like the detailing on the belt, collar, and medallion. I'm not quite sure if the way the quill is in his hand is quite right, but that could just be me - and you've done a great job on the hands themselves, which I know is no easy task

He looks really good! i like the shading and his expression. i absolutely love the hair. the only thing i don't quite like is that he looks sorta stiff. when you look at a body realistically, people/elves (not taht i've ever seen one mind you but i'm going by humans lol) aren't that stiff naturally. i'm not sure how you could fix this. *shrugs* but otherwise it's a beautiful piece. i really like it! elves rock especialy Tolkien Elves! ~_^

This is an interesting shading effect, yet the quill doesn't exactly look... well... it seems to be floating between his fingers... An elf is an elf of beauty ang absolute grace. Your elf has good expression, yet he hasn't the... "relaxiveness" of the absolute Tolkien elf... Still a beautiful pic though...

Dude, that looks like a well aged female elf...
Hmm, i may be wrong but your elf has a bust, but oh well, it's a damn good elf. Excellent shading, especially the face.

He looks kinda feminine- but like his collar and I love the detail in the shading of his clothes and belt ; `

Sorry 'bout this, but I gotta express my opinions...He looks ill, no really, he looks as if he wants to puke but he's trying to hide it, to no avail of course...

This is really a female. The look of his face is a women and not a man.
