SciFi and Fantasy Art Faramir and Eowyn by Ellen M. Hooghoudt

A picture of Faramir (knight/man) and Eowyn (princess/woman) embracing each other, looking eastwards (towards Mordor). (Originally they should be standing on the walls of the tower of Minas Tirith, but I left out the background.) Their hair is blowing in the wind, her hair is golden and his hair is raven black. She is wearing a medieval (fantasy) robe and he is wearing a jerkin with boots and a big cape (which is blowing in the wind also).

1 May 2004	Lanfear	Loading... I`m sorry to disagree, but i really dislike the picture, in fact, i hate it because it seems unrealistic to me and besides: Eowyn is the strongest female character in the book and here she looks so weak and depending!

10 Mar 2009	LuthienElvenFair	Loading... I agree with Rohiana, everyone needs instructive criticism. I like it but... why isn’t she wearing a shirt? I mean, that’s just not like Eowyn to go topless. But otherwise, I love this drawing. Rohiana is right, the shoulder is a bit too long, but it’s not too bad. And Anonymous5000 is partially correct, their faces do look the same. Great job, though!
