SciFi and Fantasy Art Before the Fords of Bruinen by Hope Hoover

This is the final computer painting that the watercolor sketch was for. I am not totally happy with this but it is getting closer to what I want. I am still struggling with the issue of twilight. That in combination with Glorfindel's slight glow and this picture has been a toughy. The hobbits are better and the bits of Aragorn with the sword hilt are more in proportion. Still going to keep working with it though.....

Glorfindel is, and always shall be, my absolute favorite male elf. EVER. And 'till now, I've never seen a picture of him. You just made my entire holiday season. You rock. You absolutley rock. I cannot express how much you totally kick tailbone without turning blue... and my only critique? I envisioned his hair all crinkly-like, but hell, you have a right to draw him how you see him. ^.^

15 Apr 2007	10th Fellowship member	Loading... when Frodo was stabbed I was terrified. If Glorfindel hadn't showed up..shudders You have this scene perfectly. Absolutely amazing.

I love the expresion of Glorfindel looking at Aragorn. He looks really worried. I think that you captured the feelings of the Hobbits too. They also look worried, scared etc. I just LOOOVE this picture!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!
