I just had to leave a comment for this picture, it is stunning. This is exactly how I picture Tolkien's elves, refined and dignified, the details in this piece speak more profoundly than any words I could use to praise it.

Wow. Love the detail in the clothing and the facil expression. Exactly how i pictured him, young, yet old, powerful and smooth. Intellengent yet not overbearing. Wonderful. Beautiful *bows down in awe*

The hand... you've used a particular style, and it has absolutely captured me. The manner in which you have drawn Celeborn IS oh so captivating... what style you used? In some very old drawings 19th century or older, this style is used SOMEWHERE... i just wish i knew more about it. It's very... modern folklore if you catch my drift, or medieval folklore? but i'm not willing to believe that this style was a *medieval* feature... maybe. Anyways, Merry Kudos to you, and a Happy Mae Govannen!

Ummm, don't you mean HUSBAND? Elves arn't really the kind of people to have consorts especially Galadriel considering Tolkien more than once likened her to the Virgin Mary!
