This is a portrait of one of Elrond's twin sons....Elrohir. I usually portray him with long hair but in this instance I imagined him around the turn of his first century, with hair somewhat cropped. Wild child. I enjoyed making him feel like a frozen moment in time by bluring his background a bit. I may go back in and paint a new, more neutral background just so that he will stand against it clearer.

I like the background and your color choice, and I have always enjoyed your take on Elven clothing. The pose is also good. But I think the lines in his face and particularly on his neck make him look old. Particularly if you're aiming for his first century of life.

Hi! Just wanted to say that I've admired your work for some time now, and I've only just worked up the guts to comment. 12 The Lord of the Rings is probably one of my favorite fictional works ever, and I rarely see art for it that I truly respect. You are one of the artists that I think really has a feel for the characters. Elrohir is perfect. You captured his personality, and the style is beautiful! Wow... He is one of my favorite characters, and I haven't found much art for him in particular. Thank you so much for doing this! It made my day better. 12

Yay wild child!! I love how he looks! Hey...Question..How are elves created? O.O; to elf mommy and daddy's 'toss the salad'? (bad way to...Express it...But i was trying to get it across without people really understanding it properly..The younger ones anyway...).

But...Moving on... I love the idea of freezing him in time? How did you make the lines in the background? I love how you made the background too. I need to learn how to do that. It would do so much for my drawings..

First off, beautiful work. Is it me, or does his sword look a lot like Sting from the movies?

You rock my world.

Great, as usual. I just wish that Elrohir and Elladan played a more active role in LOTR...

...I had a dream I was Arwen's sister (name in dream: Aelwyn) and I ran away. Hmm.

He’s fantastic! I really like the backround, don’t change it. And his bow is great! 1
