But it's a really nice picture, me likes!! | |

This is a Finduilas who I can relate to. As another said, the tilt of her head, the hands holding Faramir touch my heart. Incredibly beautiful drawing.
But I love Denethor and his entire family.

| 16 Jul 2008 | Camille | Loading...Poor Finduilas, and also, poor Denethor, Boromir, and Faramir, for having to lose her. I love how you’ve portrayed Finduilas and her younger son. There’s such a feeling of love and comfort here, yet there’s also this underlining sadness that speakes of Finduilas soon-to be death. | |
| 8 Aug 2008 | Two-Feathers | Loading...I love how how you’ve portrayed Finduilas having this gentle, yet queenly air to her; I think it really fits her character. I can also really see her son Faramir in her, which works, since I think he shared alot of her personality in some ways. And I also think it’s interesting how you have her looking up, like she’s knows she’s going to leave her son soon, but she’s trying to protect him from the truth. And as for Denethor being controlled to kill her, I don’t see that happening. From what we know Finduilas died at a young age, considering her Numorean/Elvish hertitage, of sea-longing and constantly being assulted with the Shadow of Mordor. It’s said that her death nearly broke Denethor, who deeply loved her, and after it, he became withdrawn and cold. | |
