This is a cut image from a commission of Eowyn meeting Faramir in the gardens of the houses of healing in Minis Tirith. I like the composition but I have been tempted to redo it again for my own pleasure since I havce become much better at watercolors since then.

This is a wonderful picture. I love this part of the book, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they do it the movie. You've really captured all the charecters and what they are feeling at that moment perfectly. I love that Faramir has dark hair. "...and their hair, raven and golden, streamed out mingling in the air."

I think Eowyn and the grey-haired man look a little bit too unhappy...as if Eowyn had something to reproach to Faramir. I've always imagined her disappointed and sad of not being at war with Aragorn, but not as angry....
but I love Faramir's expression, dunno how to explain, but it really matches him (if you understand what I mean...)

I love the clothes too, they're great ! Thumbs up, you're work is really amazing !

1 this is way too much fun. I love how I can see their expressions well. Just how I pictured it in the book.

A wonderful picture, if only because that is as close a depiction of the Faramir in my head that I've found in the Woods. And your Eowyn is rather sassy, too. You draw people beautifully, with a serene, unearthly loveliness. I can't wait to see more of your work, so update soon! Also, would love to know your thoughts on my gallery if you have a moment.

Very good character concepts, but poor background. Anyway I like it.

Aww, Faramir is really cute here! And Eowyn looks angry, but that's totally her. That healer is probably happy to pawn her off on someone else for a while, and Faramir seems to be the perfect candidate. Nice painting

Beautiful!!!! Faramir's arm is in a sling because of the muscles in his chest help support the arm.... I believe the arrow landed between the pectoralis and the deltiod... So of course his arm's in a sling.... Beautiful pic.... But faramir's facial structure makes him look like a dunlending..... Or a pukl man..... Eowyn doesn't look angry... She looks dizzy and can't stand by herself, which makes sense..... And that dude has no name.... Well, he prolly does, but we don't know it... He's just the warden.... Who marvles at hobbits....

Wonderful, Faramir looks so gentle and handsome, exactly as I pictured him!
