another request, and im damn proud i actually managed to get the face to look asian. drawing women i have found is not easy, and it took requests to actually get me started on it :) i can understand why people draw women in little clothing in fantasy pictures (aside from the obvious reason) its a bloody challenge, the day i manage to draw a nude woman that looks good ill be very happy indeed :)

The wolf is pretty spiff..but I have some little comments to make, which is really weird since I'm not technically strong either. First of all, please make the picture smaller. 2 Second of all.. asian women don't quite look like that.. the chin, the nose, the cheekbone and the eyes are a little off.. and how would i know this? 'cause I'm an asian chick..just find a picture of one.. I know we all don't look alike.. but I'm sowwy, we don't look like that. Just..practice... I like the shading though... Heh, in one of my pictures, I was trying to get this guy to not look asian.. and nothing I would do would change that.... Anywho, I'll stop babbling now..

I have to agree with the previous comment. It's a fine picture as far as it goes. The layout is great, almost looks like it could become a Tarot card... but my immediate impression was of Anglo actress Gale Sondergaard in heavy makeup as the Asian Lady Thiang in "Anna and the King of Siam" (the 1940s film, not the recent one). There are a lot of good drawing instruction books out there but just try to find one that includes facts and examples of Asian faces and eyes -- or for that matter, Native American or even African ones! All I can suggest is what the previous comment suggested... that you look at a lot of pictures of Asian people, and if there's a lot of Asian people where you live, take some time to hang out where they do and observe the way their faces and bodies are. It's not just in the eyes.

Can I make a few comments plz? Okay, first of all, yes, the wolf: c'est excellent! But ... I was born & live in Canada, but my parents & grandparents were born in India and came to Canada ... sometime. However, just 'cuz I was born in Canada does't mean I don't look Asian, on the contrary, I look like it 2 a ton of people think that I'm just newly-immigrated, and it surprises them when I talk & have a Canadian accent 14 ^-^ BUT .... to say this person is asian is, I'm sorry, an insult. I haven't ever seen anyone that loooks like that. Methinks you used some sort of western pic of an asian person. Do you want a more reliable picture of one? Here's one of an Indian actress: http://www.eforu.com/gallery/aishwaryarai/pic6.html The woman's right leg, right before the part that is blocked, is way too fat. Sorry 8 it's true tho ^-6

Holy cow, guys, back off. I'm asian too and I take no offense to this. Heck, if people got offended at valliant attempts, I'd have no male friends. Jens, congratulations. At least you tried and I don't think you did to badly. *I* could tell you were going for an asian look. Besides, I've seen asian women that look like that. Ignore them. And continue to create. You are very talented. I love your attention to detail and your shading. Superb. And your wolf is just awesome!

I know how you feel...female characters are so much harder to draw than the male ones, I think the problem is you try to make them perfect while the male ones are allowed to have faults
