I wake up in the morning to an annoying clock,
It rings so loud I can’t get it to stop.
After getting dressed I go downstairs,
For breakfast I have cyber cereal and pears.
After putting contacts on all 50 eyes,
I get my laser books and kiss my mom good-bye.
At school we learn about stuff in space,
During math my teacher gave me an ugly face.
Science was ok if you like tests,
The screen popped up it was about house hold pests.
Rocketing on a bus I was on my way home,
When I got through the door a ring came from the phone.
I was mom she was ok,
But on the way home there was a delay.
The traffic from LA to Jupiter is terrible,
And for my mom who is impatient it’s almost unbearable.
When she finally came home it was late in the night,
Tired as she was she came and tucked my in tight.
I decided to sleep on Venus tonight,
There was a nice breeze and just the right light.
This is the process of how my boring days go,
They might seem silly and a little slow.
But that is how the aliens of space survive,
It may not seem like much but it keeps us alive.
